Air Entraining Agent for Dry Mix Concrete
Description
Carbofen NCX is derived from a natural resin that has been processed, modified, and neutralized. The final product is a dark brown free flowing powder that is soluble in water. Due to its chemical and physical properties, Carbofen NCX has excellent air entraining properties for concrete made of Portland cement and can be added to dry mix concrete used in various types of projects.
Applications
Carbofen NCX is a powder soluble in water and may be added pure or as an aqueous solution to concrete mixes. Our product performs well as an air entraining agent for concrete in the following applications:
- All types of concrete, including light weight and pre-stressed concrete where optimum air entrainment is desired,
- Concrete containing Pozzolith or other admixtures (water reducers, accelerators, retarders, densified and water repellents),
- Dry mix concrete for DIY to large construction projects
